Two locksmith companies in South Florida have teamed up to create a new way for locksmith apprentices to get a better job with a higher salary.
The two companies, locksmith Sacramento and locksmith company Cape Coral, have teamed together to offer a new system of apprenticeships, with two locksmith jobs being offered for $55,000 and a different one at $60,000.
The new apprenticeships are only available through the company’s online training portal, where a new apprenticeship is awarded each month.
“The new apprentices are a great way to train for the new jobs,” said Lockup Academy President Kevin Fagan.
“It’s great to have a company that is trying to help the industry get better.”
Locksmith apprenticeship costs are lower than what the average locksmith is paid.
It is also less expensive than other lock and key jobs, such as electricians, because the jobs typically require a degree, not a master’s degree.
The apprenticeship programs are offered at the two companies and they can be found in locksmith academy.com, lockupacademy.com and lockslamber.com.
The apprenticeships require a minimum of six weeks of training to be certified.
To apply for a locksmith apprentice, go to lockupabroad.com/tasks/make-your-locksmiths-job-more-interesting and fill out a form.
The company will contact you in a few weeks.
Once the apprenticeship training has been completed, the locksmith will start working on his or her own job.
Each company offers different levels of training.
The average locksman will earn between $70,000 to $90,000 a year in locks.
The higher level locksmith can earn as much as $100,000, and the lower level locksman can earn anywhere from $50,000 all the way to $100.
The company also offers a $20,000 incentive if you choose to be a locksheep, but that is only available to new hires.
A new locksmith needs to have completed at least two months of training with Lockupacadia to qualify.
The new program is part of a larger effort to help lock and keysmiths.
Fagan said that Lockupabright has already started offering locksmith positions at other locksmith sites in SouthFlorida.
He added that the company is currently looking to expand its apprenticeship program.
“I think we’re going to continue to expand that,” Fagan told News4Jax.
“We’ve got more locksmith schools and lockshees in South America, and we’re trying to keep up with the demand, so we’re open to doing more.”
The new locksman apprenticeships were created after the company had trouble finding enough locksmith students in the state to fill all of its vacancies.
The state is looking to have at least 60 locksmith school openings in the next five years.
